  • “Trauma informed therapy for the early years”

    Welcome Moms and Dads!

We are so glad you are here! You have taken a big step toward feeling better and enjoying family life.

Being a mom or dad was supposed to be the most amazing thing you ever did but sometimes, it’s the hardest, most overwhelming, and scary thing you ever face. If you’re here, searching for a therapist, something isn’t going as well as you had hoped and you want to be happier and feel more in control of your life.

You may be struggling with a high-risk pregnancy, postpartum depression or anxiety, the trauma of a premature baby and NICU admission, an unexpected disability, or even fetal or infant loss.

Perhaps you’re adjusting to life with your new baby, the loss of sleep, challenges with feeding your baby, returning to work or staying home full time, and, of course, figuring out who you are now that you’re a parent.

Maybe your toddler or pre-schooler is driving you crazy because they tantrum all the time, don’t follow directions and you’re desperate to learn some positive parenting skills to help manage this behavior and bring the joy back to your lives.

Or, you may need help getting through a separation or divorce, supporting your children, or managing difficult relationships with your co-parent.

Nurturing Healthy Kids and Happy Families
